The Beginning
The group was having trouble with hare raising. The group is small and folks are busy with winter activities. Thankfully, Hardly agreed to do this run with the help of Dastardly.
The location selected was the Brickwell Taphouse, conveniently located the Thornhill neighbourhood off Centre Street, straddling the NW and NE boundary.
The group assembled inside and checked out the ambiance and beer/food specials.
Camshaft decreed that it was time to circle up. So outside we went into the cool evening. The air seemed cooler here than in the south part of town where is was quite warm!
Camshaft ran the circle and went through the announcements and introductions.
The hares were called into the circle to describe the marks for the run.
The pack was directed to where the first marks could be found.
The Trail
Off we go through the shopping centre. Marks were found and the pack was off to run the trail.
Off through the neighbourhoods to find the scenic views afforded by this part of town.
Through the streets and alleys following marks eventually lead to the regroup vehicle.
Back to the bar to get set up in anticipation of the down down’s.
Down Down’s
The group made it back to the pub and settled in waiting for the down down’s to begin.
Skewbic Hair was volunteered to be Religious Advisor. He put together a program and selected Insane Bolt to be the choir.
Down Down’s for the hares, followed by a series of crimes and stories.
Scoobie declared the group to be “on the piss”

Trail Summary
A fine trail of 6.5 km’s or so were enjoyed by all the runners that attended. The walkers had a good time as well.
